Sherman Golden from Warren, Ohio – A world renowned Comedian, Writer, and Producer. Sherman started his comedy career at the world famous Comedy Act Theatre and Vixen Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Sherman was one of the first comedians in Atlanta to get his opportunity in television with BET’s Comic View where he became a house hold name and later becoming a writer for the show. Other TV credits (but not limited to): HBO’s Def Comedy Jam with comedian Martin Lawrence, The Showtime Special – Laffapalooza with Jamie Foxx, David Alan Grier, Jonathan Slocumb and Cheryl Underwood, and we must mention the appearances on the Monique Show as well as his great writing contribution to the show. Sherman has achieved several movie credits such as Spike Lee’s – School Daze, The Pizzamann, appearing with co-stars Sara Rogere Carter and Allen Kempd Playa in the Pulpit, just to name a few.
